Blood and gore
Ouch. Today I riveted on the chequer plate over the two sets of jerry cans (back and roof) - firstly to keep the sun off them, secondly so I can lock them in. Unfortunately, I caught my finger in the rivet gun and broke a fingernail in half, spraying blood everywhere in the process. So I decided it'd be safer to catalogue the spares instead, which was true, until I went through a locker and dropped an axle stand on my broken fingernail... Gnnnnn!
This evening I'll be playing with the GPS software, Touratech QV, which arrived today.
Last week I fitted the new inverter, a 300w pure sine wave model, and angle-ground off the rim of the battery box; it had the unfortunate feature of risking arcing the terminals of the batteries together if the batteries bounced around (or if you rolled the vehicle over). Having already nearly welded a couple of spanners to the box, I thought it was about time it went.
