After about an hour and a half of poking and prodding, the auto electrician Andy worked out that one of the relays had been wrongly connected, hence the lights not working. The mystery is not how they failed, but how they ever worked at all - oh well. So I now have working electricals again, which is always nice. Andy had a few issues with the wiring diagram and the truck being totally different from each other, so I'm glad it wasn't just me being an idiot.
On the minus side, the brake master cylinder is leaking, and it's supposed to be a nasty job to do...
The picture is a slightly better one of the new colour scheme. If only the weather would warm up, it would make the prospect of painting the roof and roll cage somewhat more appealing.
