Calling Thuraya from mobile networks

In the event anybody wants to call or text us on the satellite phone, it appears that Orange (for example) charges £6.76/minute inc VAT to call Thuraya numbers, but only 22p to text them (based on pay-monthly). T-Mobile charges £9/min +VAT, Vodafone £5.75 +VAT, and O2 £6.74/min +VAT. So I'm not expecting long phone calls from T-Mobile subscribers. It's worth mentioning that for us to call out costs around $1.50 a minute, so if anybody needs to speak to us urgently, it's probably worth texting and we'll call you back.

The wonderful telecomms giant BT seems to be desperate not to give anything away on such private matters as call charges, but it looks like they charge something between £1.50 and £2 /min to Thuraya.
