I haven't forgotten about the blog, but I have been a trifle busy doing other things - like a Mountain Leader course in Wales, plus preparing for my PGCE course (deadline tomorrow!) So the truck has been parked up for a few days.
On the bright side, some of the paperwork is in motion, and I've ordered the navigation software and satellite phone, so things are still moving on.
Revised departure date, to fit around ferry times, is likely to be Wednesday 29th March, which is scarily not far away at all!

Whats a PGCE course please?
It is a general university programme for training graduates in a specific subject to become school teachers. It stands for Post-Graduate Certificate in Education.
I wonder if David did this and is now teaching somewhere? Is so, are the children harder to maintain than his old expedition vehicle?
