Getting stuff sorted

It looks like Nicki might be coming after all. This would be good as it would save the whole trip turning into a total disaster before I've even left.

Thanks to Devon 4x4, I've received a new axle casing and gasket, and surprisingly, the 30 minute job of replacing it took only 40 minutes. However - Tim, you forgot the filler plug! So I now need to go and find a new filler plug from somewhere.

The photo is of the old filler plug. This is a pretty solid bit of metal, so it must have been absolutely pounded by the diff. Still, at least I know the diff must be fairly strong.
